When we originally made Senpai HQ in 2017, it was solely for our purpose. My brother and I were at the mall school shopping for the upcoming semester. While going from store to store, it seemed as though the names were changing, while the clothing designs stayed the same. The designs were bland and generic. After seeing the same clothes for the 3rd time in a row, I told my brother that we should design our own clothing and Senpai HQ was born!
We started small by designing things that we thought were cool for T-shirts. Skateboarding, memes, anime, and you name it we had it. As we became men, our purpose was redefined and we wanted our brand's "why" to reflect the same.
The word Senpai (Noun) - Is a Japanese honorific used when someone is older than you in age or they have more experience in a specific field than you.
What does Senpai mean to us? John 10:34- Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, "I said ye are gods,"
Senpai HQ is on a mission to become the best versions of ourselves and reach this god mode in every area of our life. We use our art to encourage others to do the same.
We make clothing with a purpose to speak encouragement to the people:
It's scientifically proven (Enclothed Cognition) "that if you look better, you feel better, and the end result being that you do better". We strive to make each design revolve around this concept. We want to make people feel as good as possible with our clothing so that love and positivity can be spread to others.

As a black owned business we’ve noticed that the anime community has a lack of representation for People of Color. Our goal is to make anime POC characters that our people can look at and feel a sense of pride in who they are. We will do this by inspiring other with the word:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. All of the designs that we make are inspired by a scripture in the bible. Our goal is to make the book come to life so people can see themselves in it.
It took us some time to come to this epiphany; but now that we figured it out, nothing can stop us.
